Donna had always been envious of her cousin Gwen’s privileged life. While Gwen’s mother had married a wealthy lawyer, Donna’s mother had married a poor man. As a result, Gwen had always had the finer things in life, from fancy clothes to expensive vacations. Donna, on the other hand, had to rely on Gwen’s generosity to experience even a glimpse of luxury.
But Donna’s envy soon turned to deceit. When Gwen introduced her to Brian, the son of her father’s best friend, Donna was immediately smitten. Despite knowing that Gwen had been in love with Brian for years, Donna set her sights on stealing him away. And she succeeded, at least for a while.
