When Patricia Clarke became pregnant in 1983, she had a feeling that her baby would be bigger than average. Given her family history of large babies, she wasn’t entirely surprised. However, nothing could have prepared her for the arrival of her son, Kevin Robert Clark, who weighed an astonishing 16 pounds at birth.
Kevin’s massive size made headlines across the country, and he became an overnight sensation. He was featured on popular TV shows, including “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.” As a result, Kevin’s face was plastered on newspapers and magazines, making him a household name.
Despite the initial shock of having such a large baby, Kevin’s parents were relieved to find that he was perfectly healthy. However, his size posed some practical challenges. For instance, he couldn’t fit into standard-sized cribs, and his baby clothes were too small.
As Kevin grew older, his height continued to be a subject of fascination. By the time he was 12 years old, he stood at an impressive 5 feet 7 inches tall. Two years later, he had grown to 6 feet 5 inches, and his height continued to increase from there.
Today, Kevin is 40 years old and stands at an incredible 6 feet 9 inches tall. Despite his towering height, Kevin has learned to live with the constant attention and questions about his size. He has developed a sense of humor about it, often joking that he’s 5-foot-21. Kevin is now a former soldier, living with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane.
