Legendary Actress June Lockhart Still Shines at 98

June Lockhart, a beloved actress, has had an illustrious career spanning nine decades. She is best known for her iconic roles as the quintessential TV mom, particularly as Ruth Martin on “Lassie” and Dr. Maureen Robinson on “Lost in Space.” Lockhart’s impressive body of work has earned her a special place in the hearts of audiences across generations.

Lockhart’s portrayal of Timmy’s mother on “Lassie” from 1958 to 1964 remains one of her most memorable roles. Her on-screen relationship with Jon Provost, who played Timmy, and the eponymous collie, Lassie, continues to be cherished by fans. Her subsequent role as Dr. Maureen Robinson on “Lost in Space” from 1965 to 1968 further solidified her status as a television icon.
