Golf is a game of patience, but sometimes even the most composed players can find themselves in hilariously frustrating situations. One man’s golfing adventure is a perfect example of how the unexpected can turn a simple round into an unforgettable story.
The man was lining up his shot on the fairway when his ball took a fortunate bounce, leaving him with a clear path to the green. Just as he was about to take his swing, a squirrel ran onto the course, snatched his ball, and climbed up a tree. A priest who was watching asked, “Is that when you said the ‘F-word’?” The man replied, “No, because then an eagle flew down, grabbed the squirrel, and carried it away.”
The priest, now even more curious, asked again, “So, is that when you lost your temper?” The man calmly explained, “No, because the eagle flew over the green, and the squirrel dropped my ball. It landed just five inches from the hole.”
At this point, the priest couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted, “Don’t tell me you missed the f***ing putt!”
