Paris Jackson Shares Her Story: Music, Modeling, and Her Father’s Legacy

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the legendary Michael Jackson, has grown up in the public eye, carrying the weight of her father’s legacy while carving out her own path. At just 11 years old, she stood at her father’s funeral and delivered a heartfelt tribute, saying, “Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him so much.”

After Michael’s passing, Paris and her brothers were placed in the care of their grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Paris lived with her until she was 19, when she moved into her father’s private studio on the family compound, transforming it into her personal sanctuary. Now 23, Paris has stepped into the spotlight as a musician and model, embracing her father’s influence while forging her own identity.

In a recent YouTube interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell, Paris opened up about her music career, her debut album Wilted, and her upbringing. The indie-folk album explores themes of heartbreak and love, reflecting her personal experiences. “It’s mainly just a story of heartbreak and love, in general, and the thoughts and feelings that come after it doesn’t work out,” she shared.

Paris also reflected on her father’s parenting style, emphasizing how he ensured his children were well-rounded and grounded. “He made sure we were cultured, that we were educated—not just exposed to luxury and glamour,” she explained. “We saw everything. We saw third-world countries. We saw every part of the spectrum.”

Despite her challenges, Paris has emerged as a confident and talented individual, making her mark in both music and modeling. She continues to honor her father’s legacy while staying true to herself, proving that she is much more than just Michael Jackson’s daughter.
