While most families expect children to choose careers different from their parents, Seka Black and her daughter Nessi have embraced the same profession—adult entertainment. What makes their journey unique is the way they support each other through it all.

Born into a quiet family, Seka had what she calls a “normal” childhood with her siblings. Her family later settled in Hopewell, Virginia, where she was affectionately called “Dottie.” As a teenager, she won a beauty pageant, earning the title of Miss Southside Virginia, which set her on a path toward the spotlight.
Her entry into adult entertainment came after leaving her accounting job. “I retired from accounting, and now we’re having fun,” she said with a smile.
Her daughter Nessi’s journey was a bit different. She first discovered her mother’s profession during a family vacation. While using her mom’s phone, she came across explicit messages that took her by surprise.
“I never expected that,” Nessi admitted. “But once I figured it out, I actually thought it was really cool.”
