“System is Rigged!” Trump Explodes Over Judge Assignment in Classified Leak Scandal

A routine judicial assignment has sparked outrage from Donald Trump, who claims the random selection of Judge James Boasberg to oversee the “Signalgate” case proves America’s courts are “corrupt.” The lawsuit, filed after White House officials mistakenly included a reporter in a Signal chat about Yemen strike plans, has become the latest flashpoint in Trump’s ongoing feud with the legal system.

The complaint names several high-ranking Trump administration figures—including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—for allegedly failing to preserve federal records. But Trump’s focus isn’t on the allegations; it’s on Boasberg, who’s ruled against him before. “A FOURTH Trump case? This isn’t random—it’s a rigged wheel!” Trump posted, suggesting the judge actively seeks cases involving him.

Legal experts note judges are assigned randomly in D.C. district court, but Trump insists Boasberg’s history proves bias. The former president recycled his “Trump Derangement Syndrome” jab and demanded an investigation into court corruption, particularly in Democratic-leaning jurisdictions.

While the administration denies sharing classified info, the lawsuit aims to recover deleted messages. Trump’s counterargument? Blame the app: “Signal could be defective,” he suggested—a claim that raises eyebrows given the platform’s reputation for security. As the case unfolds, it’s clear Trump sees it less about record-keeping and more about what he calls “the radical left’s weaponization of justice.”
